Every year thousands of individuals from across Central Maryland come together with the Y of Central Maryland for a Thanksgiving Day tradition that raises critically needed funds for struggling local families. On Thursday, November 22, the Y of Central Maryland will host its 9th Annual Y of Central Maryland and Catonsville High School Cross Country Team Turkey Trot.
The Turkey Trot will feature a 5K Run/Walk as well as a Kids Fun Run through the beautiful campus of Catonsville High School. Please join the Y along with friends, families, and neighbors in helping to support the Catonsville community by participating.
Proceeds will benefit Catonsville High School Cross Country Teams as well as the Y’s Safe Place for Kids campaign, which provides Y programs and services to those who could otherwise not afford them.

More About Catonsville High School
Catonsville High School is a local educational institution that was recently included in Newsweek's ranking of the top 1500 high schools in the nation. The school's curriculum includes over 200 courses including traditional subjects like Math, History, Science, English and the arts, with additional work study and internship opportunities available. The school also offers 18 AP courses, a special education program, honors and GT classes. Student athletes have the opportunity to participate in any of 54 competitive sports teams.
