Ho hum, I swore I would not raise my voice in any political banter ...at least for the next few months...and then, and then OMG.. along came GORE!!!  His explanation for selling his tv whatever to Al-Jazeera has been quoted as:  "The former vice president confirmed the sale Wednesday, saying in a statement that Al-Jazeera shares Current TV's mission "to give voice to those who are not typically heard; to speak truth to power; to provide independent and diverse points of view; and to tell the stories that no one else is telling."  (And of course we know the folks at Al Jazeera just love us sooooooo much!)

Now isn't that a charming little ole speech...so noteworthy, so intellectual, so sharing and caring, so finite in it's hypocrisy.

What a little mush-mouth angel he is!  'TO SPEAK TRUTH TO POWER'  yikes!!!  Has he been visiting another planet?  Is this darling helping to bring an "arab spring" to American soil?  Does it have anything to do with FORWARD...as in SPRING FORWARD???  Well, of course, we can always seek truth about the so called video problem that promoted riots that did not happen. Mmmm, Al Jazeera might come up with an answer we haven't yet heard...mmmm.  Al Jazeera in our living rooms.  We can hardly control our excitement!

How dare Monsieur Gore yank me out of my Winter dulldrums awaiting some Fiscal Cliff actions from our beloved political folks in Washington!  Oh well, it was bound to happen..I knew something was, but just wanted a little time  that's all, a little time, y'all!  Now it begins, all over again with a little surprise here and a little surprise there.   Forward march..needles and pins, with a little interest side-step... no real time to rest and absorb.  And so I ask..what the hell does "to speak truth to power"mean to Gore and Al Jazeera? And especially our dear friends at Al Jazeera????  Hath you no idea what "truth" is Monsieur Gore?  Are we going to lump these folks in with ABC,NBC,CBS,CNN and MSNBC?  Ahhhhh, now there is the rub...or not.  Perhaps  just a nice closing the circled wagons... perhaps.  The final in your face "rub???"  Ahh darling Al, how much did you sell your soul for?  Millions?  Oh no, you are one of those nasty, nasty 2% or 1%...sorry lost track.  Did you try your hardest to get it all done in 2012 to avoid those nasty, nasty taxes.

 Well looks like Cable is not accepting  of it.  But then, they will be called by some on the far, far whatever as truly right-wing-nuts.  Let the "name calling" begin!  And the sad, sad corruption of the enemy from within.  Oooops, oh Lord, now I have gone and done it.  Holy crap, I have suggested we Americans of every race, creed, and national origin actually have enemies from within who are corrupt.  Wash your mouth out with soap, Lorna.  Can't wait to  hear accusations by the "race card wheeling darlings."  All part of the current mantra to distort, disfigure and disregard all the wonders of our great country and its great citizens and all truths we really stand for. 

Oh well, by the time these little angels continue on their band-wagon of  "power of truth", look out Nellie...theirs is a truth you ain't thought of yet ...but you will my darlings, sadly you will.

In closing, I know there will be some who will ask:  "Lorna, do you not believe in freedom of speech" can't wait for that one.  Our freedoms are abused by any number of folks within and without and we smile so sweetly as it happens.  For we are far above it all.  Well my angels, I don't think so.  I might suspect that the angels at Al Jazeera will test our will power..strongly...step by step, sting by sting until you get so use to it all, you won't even notice or object.  After all, how can we be harmed...so strong, so giving, so forgiving...Ok, ok, am I overreacting honey child?  I strongly think not! mmmm Al Jazeera..Red Flag! Red Flag!!!
