What's Closed For Labor Day?

Here's a list of what's closed for the public holiday and service changes you need to know.

 

Here are closures and service changes for Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 3. Have a safe and happy holiday.

County and state government offices: closed

Schools: closed

Post offices: closed, no regular delivery

Courts: closed

Health department clinics: closed

Libraries: closed

Senior centers: closed

CountyRide: not in operation

MTA: Sunday/holiday schedule on all lines. No MARC or Commuter Bus service.

Parking meters and county garages: free

Trash and recycling: Drop-off centers will be closed, but will be open normal hours on Friday, August 31 and Saturday, Sept. 3 and will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 4. If your trash or yard waste would normally be picked up on Sept. 3, put it out that evening for pickup on Tuesday, Sept. 4. If your recycling would normally be picked up Sept. 3, hold it until the following Monday.

Surprised that Ship's Cafe on Frederick Rd in Catonsville started their fall hours as of today and are "closed on Mondays"...dang! I was looking forward to Labor Day crabs there :(. Amy
