Weekend Events: Children's Art, Wine and Recycling
There are lots of great events going on in the Catonsville area this weekend.
Looks like another great weekend is on tap in 21228. Here's what we think you should go to if you're in town.
Children's Art Show Opening at Atwater's: The concept of a kid's art show has been a dream of Catonsville resident of Jennifer Cooper's for a while. Friday's opening is sure to be a good time complete with crafts and light refreshments. The art is also amazing.
Community Recycling Day at the Children's Home: With Spring here, now is a good time to get rid of your old electronics. What better way to do that than to do it for a good cause on Saturday at the Children's Home.
Recycling Fundraiser to Benefit Catonsville Lacrosse at Catonsville High School: If you have old metal items that you need to get rid of, be sure to swing by Catonsville High School also on Saturday for their recycling event.
Community Shred Day at the Knights of Columbus: Now's the time to get rid of all those canceled checks, bank statements, everything you're afraid to set out with the recycling.
Wine Tasting to Benefit to the Catonsville Cooperative Pre-School: Live music, wine tasting and silent auction featuring local businesses will be on Saturday at the Catonsville Historical Society. Also for a good cause!
Fireside Dining Room Art Exhibition at Charlestown: The Fireside Art Committee of Charlestown, a resident-group at the Catonsville-based retirement community, will be hosting its seventh exhibition on Sunday.
