Baltimore County is holding its fall household hazardous waste disposal event at the Western Acceptance Facility at 3310 Transway in Halethorpe from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4.

Residents may bring household paints and chemicals, lawn and garden chemicals, automotive fluids, cleaning solvents, swimming pool chemicals, re-chargeable batteries, medicines, mercury thermometers and thermostats, fluorescent light bulbs, fireworks, ammunition and other hazardous household waste. Trash will not be accepted at the event.

Salem Lutheran Church, at 905 Frederick Rd. is holding its marketplace on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Features a silent auction, crafts, food, white elephant sale and baked goods. Open to the community.

Trinity United Methodist Church, at 2100 Westchester Rd. is holding its thrift shop on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Includes men's, women's and children's clothing, as well as household items, sporting goods, toys and a variety of other items.
