Looking for a way to get rid of the winter blues and get into spring? Check out the Spring Fling for some live reggae music, local vendors, bicycle demonstrations and interactive games.

The event, on Saturday March 16, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., is being held at Strawberry Fields Shopping center in conjunction with The Hub and C’Ville Bikes.

Performers include Akua Benjamin & The Ilavibes Band, a roots reggae band, Scotty Paynter, former lead singer of Jah Works, Hubert “The Pan Man” Griffith, a steel drum player, and the Strykers Posse Reggae Band, a band that celebrates the music of Bob Marley.
