Readers' Choice Winner: 40-West Barber Shop
When it comes to who to trust with your children's hair, the readers have spoken.
(UPDATED) It's official: Catonsville Patch readers have selected 40-West Barber Shop as the runaway best place to get your child a hair cut in Catonsville.
About a third of this family-owned shop's clientele is kids, with parents bringing them in since they were infants, according to co-owner Wayne Jerrell. Jerrell said he runs the shop with his son and daughter.
Second place goes to Catonsville Hair Company, which has nothing but five-star reviews from our readers on its business listing at catonsville.patch.com/places.

How come US Barber's not listed, or at least a space for a write in? They're right smack dab in the middle of Catonsville, and not a chain (I don't think), so I think they deserve a shot.

I'm with Jeff - US Barber is local, does a great job for kids, and is very affordable. And yes, right in the middle of Catonsville. Can the Patch add "Other" with an option to list places not listed on this and future surveys?

Also the 40 West Barber and Styling has been there since the early 60's.
Why is it not listed. Alot of kids have grown up going there and now are parents bring there kids there.

We only take our son to US Barber. We've tried other places but the results aren't consistent and he always gets a good cut there.
