Snowfall is likely overnight Tuesday in the Baltimore Metro area.

The week begins clear on Monday, but clouds could increase Tuesday before the snowfall that's expected mostly between 2 and 10 a.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

As of Sunday evening, there's a 70-80 percent chance of precipitation Tuesday and Wednesday, and there's a 60 percent chance Wednesday night, the forecast states.

High temperatures this week will vary from the low-40s to low 50s, with lows in the 30s or below.

Following are the forecast temperatures:

Monday: High in the lower 40s. Low in the upper 20s.

Tuesday: High in mid 40s. Low in mid 30s.

Wednesday and Thursday: Highs in upper 30s. Lows in lower to mid 30s.

Friday: High in the upper 40s. Low in the lower 30s

Saturday: High in the low 50s.

Do you think it's too late for snow, or do we need even more of it after such a mild winter?

If it never snowed again in central MD from now to eternity, it would be just fine by me.

Agreed! Since it refuses to snow on my terms. If it can't snow on Christmas day we don't need it. If it must snow on other days kindly keep the accumulation to grassy areas only!

If you don't like snow don't live in Maryland. It's a place that the weather can change every 10 minutes. I hate when people complain about snow. It's pretty, fun to play in and slows everyone down for a bit.

I guess there will once again be a big run on snow shovels at Home Depot, etc. Apparently, people must throw their old ones away every year.

This is a last attempt to get us into the retail stores to stock up on food & shovels, to stimulate the local economy. Marylanders panic at the mention of the word snow and the counties shut down one by one. It's
a holiday for everyone except for those who clear the main roads. Thanks to tertiary courts in suburban
neighborhoods, schools could be closed for the rest of the week, until the snow plows reach these tertiary roads to clear 3 " of snow. You all know the scene and routine. Get ready to stay home Wednesday and enjoy the first and only snow day of the year with your family and your neighbors. I'll see you at the Giant tomorrow!,

I LOVE SNOW! And those of us who depend on snow removal to help our income have been screwed the last couple of years. Bring it on!
