Stay close to good friends. Fifty years from now they'll remember you as you were and will appreciate what you have become.

Since Pat dealt with the very important issue of friends, I'll tackle finances.
Don't take on debt - student loan or any other kind. If you need to quit college for a year or two or defer that advanced degree because you don't have the cash to pay for a highly-overpriced degree, do it and save the money to pay your tuition and other expenses in cash. You'll be better off in the long run.
Once you do have a job, save AT LEAST 10% of your gross salary. You are going to want it someday for some big thing - having a baby, buying a house, retiring, whatever.
Finally, expensive, big-party weddings are HIGHLY overrated!

I second these two pieces of advice...especially the saving money part! I would add that staying in touch with friends you know from your younger years is a lot easier these days because of Facebook, but be open to old friends coming back into your life. You never know where life will take you and who you'll end living near again. Sometimes having friends from the past can be the best kind of friends for the present.

Wear sunscreen ALL the time, eat healthy and give out one nice compliment a day. Have an attitude of gratitude!
