A contingent of residents from Charlestown Continuing Care Retirement Community participated in Operation Welcome Home by greeting incoming military service men and women and their at BWI-Thurgood Marshal Airport on Sept. 25.

The volunteers decorated the arrival area of BWI's international terminal with patriotic signs and provide goodie bags filled with snacks and water to the returning troops, most of whom are catching connecting flights to their final destinations.
