Catonsville Area Schools' Results on State Tests

Some Catonsville area schools outperformed Baltimore County and state test scores overall in the 2012 Maryland School Assessments, according to state data.

For a full breakdown of test score averages, see the charts below. The numbers are combined percentages of students who scored proficient or advanced on the MSAs.

In reading and math at the state level, scores averaged in the upper 80s for reading and math respectively. In Baltimore County, reading and math scores on average for this year both stood at 90 percent.

At the middle school level, scores at the state were 82 percent for reading and 76 percent in math. In Baltimore County, 82 percent were proficient or advanced in reading and 74 percent were proficient or advanced in math.
