Our elected officials are making these and more VICTIMS instead of safe.
All 3 incidents are an example of why we need to have ALL of our civil rights allowed in Maryland.

Patch - maybe an article on crime in Catonsville (which seems to be armed more now than ever) and what the residents and the police can do about it?

KG, it's hard to say if this is more common or not. We have done a few articles on personal safety and protecting your home here: http://catonsville.patch.com/blog_posts/county-police-shares-tips-on-back-to-school-safety and here: http://catonsville.patch.com/articles/police-offer-tips-for-protecting-homes-businesses-from-break-ins.
As I receive updates from police I will be sure to post them. Hope that helps!

Thanks Penny for the links. I know when times are hard, crime goes up. I would like to know statistically, how our neighborhood is doing. Whatever the stats no more walking in the evening in my part of Catonsville by myself considering the above crimes.
