On Good Friday, April 6, 2012 the Lord called home Shirley Elaine Bowen (nee West), beloved wife of Robert Brandt Bowen for 60 1/2 years; loving mother of Deborah Popovec and her husband Bill and Kimberleigh Fitzsimmons; dear sister of Jacquelynn Wagner and Robert West; treasured grandmother of Michael and Julie Popovec and Justin and Stephanie Vane.

Funeral service was held at Old Otterbein United Methodist Church; interment at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
